For dogs with deeper behavioral challenges, the 5-Week Bark Board & Train program offers a more intensive and customized experience. This immersive stay-in program is ideal for addressing long-standing or complex issues such as reactivity, separation anxiety, fearfulness, or resource guarding.

Your dog will stay in a home-like setting where our professional trainer works with them daily to reshape behavior and build new habits. This program includes:

• Obedience foundation: Sit, Down, Place, Recall, and leash manners
• Crate training, calmness around triggers, and behavior modification
• E-collar and prong collar conditioning (if appropriate for your dog)
• Confidence building and exposure to real-life distractions
• Structured rest and reinforcement periods to avoid stress and burnout

This extended program allows your dog to not just learn but internalize new behaviors and routines.

 

Owner Involvement:
You’ll receive three 1-hour private lessons during the training to understand your dog’s progress and learn how to continue the training at home. After graduation, you’ll also get a 1-hour in-home follow-up session to support long-term success and smooth transition back into your lifestyle.

We follow a modern, balanced training approach, using humane tools and clear communication to guide your dog into making better choices. Our goal is to build trust, clarity, and consistent behavior that lasts well beyond training.

 

🚫 Note: This program is suitable for dogs with significant behavioral needs but not those with extreme, dangerous aggression toward humans. An additional training week can be added for $1,000 if needed.
